Pilgrimage 2019

Each month the Society of the Holy Child (SHCJ), of which I am a member, posts a short (under 4 minutes) video meditation. This month’s connects the journey of the scholars to Bethlehem (celebrated in Western Christianity on January 6th) to the pilgrimage of refugees seeking shelter and to our own journeys this year. No matter how we interpret the original story and its participants, they give us a model for making our own pilgrimage this year, our own contribution within and to the Universe Story:

What does the Epiphany mean to you this year?

  1. Dearest Terri, this is so lovely. Thank you for sharing it. I just shared it with my Congregation (La Grange). It was moving to me because I just applied to go to work at the border with the refugees/immigrants, the results of my discernment with two groups of people and my own letter of “purpose”. I’ll keep you posted.

We just buried our dear little Sr. Mary Ricardo, the violinist, Suzuki Violin Teacher, who was so full love and joy and in later years also carried on a Ministry of Sweets…chocolates mostly, which she brought around the entire center to all…

Epiphany Blessings to you Terri. Mary

    • Many thanks, Mary! I appreciate your sharing it! And do keep me posted on the possibility of your going to the border. Sympathy for your loss of Sr. Mary Ricardo. Big loss, I can imagine. Loads of love and hugs!
